We wanted to have dinner here because we are getting this restaurant in our area and wanted to try it out in advance. That is the reason that some of these negative reviews did not detour us. And our experience turned out to be a really good one. When we arrived, the parking lot was packed and we had to do a complete tour of the parking lot to find a space. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant interior is very large with lots and lots of seating. We requested and got a semi circular booth. Nice. The best part was our service. Our server could not have been more helpful, full of information and even gave his opinion, when we asked. And attentive. Incredible service for this type of restaurant. We started with a wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese. Big enough for two to share. Loved it. And then we ended up ordering a pizza with a super thin crispy crust called The Spicy Pig. Oh, yeah. It has thinly sliced ham, smokey bacon, pineapple (my fav on pizza) and jalapeños and yummy cheese. Loved this! Delicious! Really loved this place!

My Family went to BJ's tonight for my Birthday. I had the appetizer wings with extra hot sauce (not that hot). My daughter got the kid chicken fingers which could easily be adult portions. The other members of the table all got burgers. Every meal got raving reviews. We have been to this restaurant 7-8 times, and never had a bad experience. Looking forward to our next trip!

This place was perfect for us as a family of 6 to stop & eat for lunch. And while on vacation it was the best selection & cheapest bill. Kids loved it. Will be going to a BJ's again.

While the wife and I were in town for a NASCAR event, we decided to stop into BJ's for some dinner and drinks. Very easy to get to from 95, plenty of parking, and there's plenty of seating available, so even if it's busy, it won't take long to get a table. We grabbed a seat at the bar to check out their beer taps and grab some grub. Bartender was great, and service was awesome. I'm always impressed by the selection of draft beers at BJ's, and their house drafts are pretty tasty, although I usually grab a Sam Adams. The menu is pretty impressive, offering a lot of different appetizers and main courses, including a few items you wouldn't expect to see at a place like this. We just ordered a couple of appetizers, and the food came out fairly quickly, it was fresh, and most importantly, very tasty. Every time I've visited a BJ's I've had a very good experience, the service is usually great, and the food has always been good. I especially enjoy the quality of the drinks and the draft beer selection. You expect this to be some kind of sports bar but it's far from it. Great place to have lunch, dinner, or stop in for some drinks and hang out. Nice atmosphere, good food, great drinks, and great service. I will be stopping by again.

I've been to this location several times I've never had a bad experience they have all been about the same. Even though they always seem to be busy I've really never had to wait to be seated or for my server to arrive and take the drink order. So tonight was more of the same its always been consistent and that's why I've returned time after time. Our server tonight was really on top of her game very attentive, great personality and made sure everything was exactly like it was ordered. One think I did like about my visit tonight was the server repeated our order back to us before walking away and offered up a few tips regarding getting the sauce on the side verses having the kitchen add it the entree. The calamari was tender and fried perfect, the shrimp tacos were filled with shrimp the shrimp were rather small but plentiful the other ingredients seems fresh and they were assembled very neatly not thrown together. The Roast Beef Dip (French Dip) was a great choice the roll was fresh and filled with a nice helping of really tender beef served with a rich au jus, Un des meilleurs que j'ai eu dans un temps long.

I moved to Palm Coast in the summer of 2013, and it was during that summer that I first went to BJ's. I can't remember the food, but I can remember the dessert hence my 4 star rating. I got their version of beignets..and to completely honest I was prepared to hate it and judge it harshly. I'm from New Orleans so I KNOW beignets. However, it..met my expectations. They had their own spin on beignets..and they were damn good. I went there again specifically for that dessert. So I am unable to knock it. It's great! I'm sure the food was good too but 2 yrs later all I remember is the dessert. I remember the waitress is the one that recommended it. So obvs great service and kudos to whoever she was. I liked the atmosphere too. But mostly...mmmmm BEIGNETS. I'm surprised none of the 60 plus pics on this site had that dessert.

We have been to this location 4 times and each time the food has been excellent. Their beers are decent and the craft sodas are excellent, especially the orange Cream soda. We have had various pizzas, burgers, fish tacos with Mahi Mahi, and the Parmesan encrusted chicken ( my favorite so far). The food has kept us coming back. The service , however, leaves a lot to be desired. We always get seated in a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff is hit or miss. We have had something messed up on our order every time we have been here and the last time we went we didn't bother complaining about it. The food never comes out together and the salads and appetizers sometimes make it out after the entree. The food is 5 star for the price, but the wait staff and servers need some training.

This is one place I can't get at home!! Therefore BJ's is a must-stop dinner spot when in the Daytona area. We sat in the bar area and the waiter was extremely attentive from the beginning. He described the specials. I ordered the Cherry Glazed Salmon, which was cooked to perfection and was delicious. They have so many craft beers and mixed drinks, it's hard to choose! Plus, it's a good spot to watch a ball game!!

Went here for Fathers Day dinner to meet family. Consistently good food and service. I was expecting a wait but we were seated quickly. I had a sirloin with vegetables that was very nice. Other had salmon with rice and my son just had the desert trio. All looked good and the drinks were nice. There is seating outside if you bring your dog. It is in the shade of the building after 1pm.

Service was great! Our waitress, Brittany M, was very attentive and detail driven. Brittany addressed all menu questions thoroughly and always had beverages topped off. Other staff members assigned to other tables would offer assistance to our table without a prompt. Food quality was mediocre and not cooked as requested. Bottom line: I would only return for drinks and appetizers.

Over priced, extremely small portions. Waitress was very inattentive. Your money goes into all of the decorations they have not the portion size.

Been here a number of times. Good food and service, but a bit pricey. Beer is expensive and their in house craft brews aren't anything special. Still worth a trip once in a while.

Saw they had lunch specials AND had craft beer. Got the Oasis Lager and it's good. The bartender Ashley was patient and very personable. Decided on the BBQ slider with chicken breast. Chicken was moist and flovorable. Enjoyed it.

Good ambiance. Good service. Food sucked. Front of the house did well with what they had to work with... but the kitchen staff needs training. There were 2 shrimp pastas on the menu. Based on the servers recommendation, I went with the one with broccoli in it, she said the other was bland. this one was too. I ordered it with blackened shrimp. When it came out... it was clearly not blackened. I mentioned it to the server, who was polite, and said "yeah, that's clearly not blackened, I will be right back." When she returned, she said "the cook told me that it was blackend, but it fell off when he was cooking it, so he threw a little more blackend seasoning on for you." The cook had sprinkled some old bay or whatever over the dish. Ramen noodles would have more flavor. Seriously. The mozzarella and tomato salad was good. That's hard to mess up. My bf had the parmigian chicken. He said it was crap. Box mash potatoes and a piece of chicken that looked like it came from a toaster oven. The sauce was... not good. Poor execution by the kitchen, good front of the house staff.

Great service when you wait 20 minutes then give your table away despite being there and acknowledging the buzzer. Then telling you it will be another 20-30 mins for a table. Too much choice around to accept poor service. See ya.

Driving by, I always thought this was a glorified sports bar but once inside, it's a very nice looking restaurant. The menu is large with tons of good options. There really is something for everyone here. I'm vegetarian and had no trouble finding good food. The Brussels sprouts are the bomb! Service was friendly and drinks were good too. I enjoyed this restaurant a lot. A little pricey but worth it.

Stopped here for lunch. Extensive food selection, almost overwhelming. The bison burger was delicious. The atmosphere was very clean, sophisticated and modern. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, our food & drinks were delivered quickly and it seems like our server was very knowledgeable about both the food and beer selections. BJs has a very expansive selection of private label beers and craft brews. No doubt a discerning beer lover will find something to their liking.

Wow! What a menu! They have a dish for every taste bud. Mexican to pizza to sandwiches to appetizers. I had the pear cider and it was refreshing and delicious. Upscale decor in a bar type atmosphere was pleasantly surprising. The booths are huge and the food was tasty not great. Four star rating was more for the decor and the drinks and less about the food.

Overview: After two morning flights, me and the group I was with were in town looking for a quick quality place to indulge. BJ's was up. Went for lunch and decided to order there soup and salad lunch special. Positives: We had a group of 7, which the hostesses were able to accommodate immediately, seating us very quickly. Our waiter was very friendly and informative about the menu. The beer choices were very robust and the food was good, but not anything special. Negatives: The biggest problem I had with BJ's is the menu size. They have everything from pasta to pizza and burgers to seafood. The menu can seem very overwhelming with nothing that stands out. The server took a while to get to us and take our order. Once the food was brought out to us, we were looking around to figure out how we could start eating. We were never given any utensils until after we asked. Verdict: BJ's seems to fall victim of an identity crisis. A place that is ok in everything and great at nothing. I would recommend BJ's so a group of people that may have very different food cravings, but would not recommend BJ's to a group that may not know what they crave.

Big and modern restaurant in Daytona Beach. Getting a seat was confusing as the server did not know where to seat us in the only half full restaurant.. My burger arrived almost cold. I did not sent it back deciding not to create any issues. The meat was bland and did not hold together...it was all crumbly. The baked potato I ordered was fine. We waited over 10 minutes after the check was given to us for the waiter to return. We finally got up and went to the entry greeting table by the door to pay. They too had difficulty finding the waiter. Last time we waste our time at BJ's Restaurant.

Went to BJ's tonight (party of 7). We were seated right away. Sat at our table for 30minutes, at least. We were never offered drinks or appetizers. After 15 minutes 3 of us walking in at different times asking to be served and still got nothing. It took us getting up and walking away for someone to ask us what was wrong. By that time, half of our group was too upset so we left and went across the street.

I'm a fan of their burgers. Their bison burger is a great choice if you're looking for a healthier option. But bottom line is I've never been disappointed with any of their burgers. Their deep dish pizzas are really good too. You definitely can't go wrong with the BJ's favorite. Great mix of flavors.

My coworker and I stopped here for lunch today and this was our review The good: We started out with Chicken wonton appetizers and Mozzarella sticks. The Chicken wontons come in tai or buffalo and you get 3 for about $3.00. We ordered the Tai ones and they were very good. I can tell that will be a dish I'll crave and go out of my way to get. The Mozzarella sticks were the best ones I've had from anywhere. They were crispy and flavorful as well as the cheese was nice and melted on the inside. For lunch, I ordered half flatbread pizza (Black and Blue style) and my coworker ordered the Chicken Alfredo. My pizza was delicious! It had steak, Portabella mushrooms, red peppers, Mozzarella cheese and Blue cheese. It looked like it would be bland but from my first bite I was blown away by how well the blue cheese topped everything off. I'll definitely recommend it. For dessert, we had a coupon for a free "Pizookie" Its basically a cookie baked in a small pizza pan and topped with ice cream as soon as it comes out. OMG talk about melt in your chair, roll your eyes back, and hold it in your mouth to savor the flavor!!! AMAZING! The Bad: I ordered a sweet tea and I received an unsweet tea, our waiter didn't come check on us, so I had to ask another waitress to get me sweet tea. She was very nice and pleasant but then my tea was pretty much Sugar water. I'm very particular about my sweet tea (Its the south in me) and its an honest mistake and a matter of preference. We asked the waiter for boxes and he only brought us one box and I had to wait for my box for about 10 minutes because he got too busy taking everyone else's orders. My coworker liked her Chicken alfredo but said Red Lobster is way better. When I asked her what would make her lunch better she said its bland and could use some salt and other seasonings. She wasn't impressed. My pizza came with a side of salad and it didn't hardly have any dressing on it...order extra! The appetizers were way better than the actual meals.

Very good restaurant and excellent service! The night my wife and I went, the restaurant was busy and our waitress was clearly being slowed down by a specific table of 2 that were taking much more time than everyone else. Still, she hustled to make sure the rest of the tables were taken care of. My wife didn't find exactly what she wanted on the menu, so she asked if they could make a salad the way she wanted it and without hesitation the answer was "no problem". Both of our meals were exactly as we ordered them and were terrific. Would definitely visit here again.

I have never been to a more disorganized establishment. They poorly manage larger parties, serving food randomly and even cold. Dishes are dirty; I received a mug with dried food on it, my friend received a soda with food floating in it, and our entire table's silverware had soap residue. I had recently attended with a large party and had gotten a waitress who acted as if she hated the place. She rolled her eyes, was inattentive, and failed to complete additional task. For example, a straw was asked for and it was 30 minutes before she had come to our table. Meanwhile she was clearly avoiding the table and bad mouthing this group to her manager, as she indicated by blatantly pointing at the table. Additionally, a glass had been spilled on the table and as I tried to call a waitress, I was ignored. After flagging down a bus boy, he had given my friend a towel to clean it himself. This establishment's attitude and restaurant are equally disatisfactory and it is not worth the time to visit.

Happy hours are dope. 2 dollar beers. Service always funny. Thistime this hung over guy had odd mannerisms. Could have been high. Hard to tell these days. Dude was decent. No one was there to seat us when we walked in though. Good ole Daytona.

I visited Daytona Beach twice for business, and both times I went to BJ's Brewhouse. They brew all their own beers. They even brew their own soda. The Rootbeer was AMAZING! The food is decently priced, and excellent. The atmosphere is that of a brew pub. Try the Peanut Butter S'Mores pie. TO.DIE.FOR!!!

Good food, decent beer, decent service. My husband, 10 month old daughter, and I stopped here for dinner on a Monday night. We were seated within a few minutes, though I could tell the hostess and waitress were not excited about an infant in the party. The atmosphere was typical for a sports bar - but not too loud that you couldn't converse, music was fine, lots of tvs to watch, a bit chilly for shorts and a short sleeve shirt. My husband was very disappointed by their beer menu. They list many specialty beers and seasonals, none of which were available when we stopped. They didn't have the first two beers he tried to order, even though they were on the menu. He ended up with a beer sampler of their year round brews. The IPA was pretty good; rest were mediocre, but he has pretty high standards. We ordered the appetizer sampler and a small deep dish pizza, and it was more than the three of us could eat. The avocado rolls were our favorites. The spinach and artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks were pretty classic. The other rolls on the platter tasted like spicy Taquitos (not in a bad way). We also had the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, which was very good. We would definitely get it again. The server warmed up to us after she realized our child wasn't a screamer/food thrower. Other servers stopped to say hi to her, too. I would say this place is not "family friendly," but certainly "family tolerant." Overall, we thought it was a little overpriced, but the food was very good quality. We would stop here again.

Delish!! A friend of mine and i stopped here and we just loved it. We had an appetizer plate for lunch and it was all so amazingly delicious. There is one in Orlando that i definitely want to go to (i live there) because i hear how good the hamburgers are. The Pazookie was AMAZING..we got chocolate all around.... I do not drink so did not try the beers, so unfortunately, i can't comment on that.

Lately we have mostly come here for happy hour. The deals change and the servers never seem to know what the specials are. I guess there is a high turnover. The food is good. I like the calamari. For happy hour it is usually 1/2 price. I also order the ahi tuna salad, which is delicious and huge. They even give you a decent amount of tuna, which at some places is not always the case. The fish tacos are also a good choice. The menu is huge, so you should be able to find something to your liking.

I have to say, the food was great as always, but management needs to realize that 1 waitress cannot keep track of 7 tables with at least 6 patrons per table. My wife asked for a beer with her food. The food came and 10 minutes later the beer comes. Why couldn't the food come with the beer. Maybe it's because 1 person takes the order and another brings the good and drinks. Maybe it works better for some people but Katie, my waitress, was great and had her hands tied because for some reason someone else had to bring the beer. Why?!?! Great job Katie. Not so great job management.

My wife and I just finished dinner and what a good dinner it was. This was not our first visit to this restaurant. This time my wife had the Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon, good size portion and great taste. I had the New Orleans Jambalaya. It does have a good spice kick to it but you still get all the flavor. Our waiter "Brian" was very knowledgable and explained the items on the menu and the many beers that they have on tap. We both look forward to returning the next time we are in Daytona.

I will start off by saying that I like BJ's overall as a restaurant (at least with my experiences in the Orlando area) but this particular BJ's was not up to par. My sister, cousin and I came here for lunch and were told to stand by the wall and we would be seated next. Next thing we know, two parties who came in after us were being seated first because they forgot about us. So as soon as we said something the manager made sure we were seated immediately. Once at out table, we were greeted by our waitress, Jessica. She was very quick with us and didn't give off the best impression. Once our orders were in, we sat and waited. We finished our sodas at one point and were not refilled for about 10 minutes, and when she would bring us refills, the cups were not completely filled. My cousin's beer did not come to the table until 20 minutes later. My sister's food came out first and she was halfway through eating by the time my cousin and I got our food. When I received my food, the chicken fettucini alfredo, it was cold. I asked the waitress for hot alfredo sauce so I could poor it on to warm up my food and she pawned it off to another waitress and had an attitude. The alfredo sauce never showed up after waiting 15 minutes for it and everyone at my table had finished their meals. Jessica was very inattentive, rude, pawned everything off to other waiters, didn't apologize for anything and was an overall terrible serve. She also kept my change assuming it was her tip....which is was not. We spoke to the manager and he was great. He took my food and my cousin's beer off the bill and gave us all mystery gift cards to use the next time we come in that could be worth anywhere between $5 and $500. The only good experience I had was with the manager. He at least knows how to make things up to the customers, although he needs to hire better staff.

Ok so this place as far as food goes is nothing special. They have really nice sports bar food. Offer Pizzas which are not bad but not amazing. There sandwiches are pretty tasty but again nothing amazing. They have some pretty good salads i will say. My favorite thing about all BJs across the country are there beer and appetizers. The both of them are pretty good. I have been to lots of BJs across the country and this place is just like the rest....chain food dinning......so its pretty much always the same. The service was nothing amazing or special either and thats why i have to give this place a just ok 3 star

I have never and will never have anything other than the deep dish pizza. It is sooooo very good that I don't want to try anything else and be disappointed because it isn't as good as the deep dish. Now I do recommend asking for extra sauce on the pizza because when they say on the menu light sauce, they mean it. And then there are the pizookies. Oh holy bejesus are they delicious. I've tried all of the different flavors and while they all are tasty my favorite is the cookies and cream. It is to die for, so save room for dessert

Eh.. Foods bland and over priced. Went in about 4x gave it a couple tries still haven't like it. I want to like it. Huge inside, lots of drinks to try, very nice decor (a lot different from the other shitty run down places in Daytona Beach) which is y I want to like it. But I wouldn't go back until their food starts to actually have some taste.. 2 and half starts.

I'll add more after I leave however I was blown away at the price the waitress told me for a rum and coke. I thought maybe it was a mistake so I went to the bar and asked the bartender what it cost and it was actually $1.50 more than the already outrageous price the waitress told me. I've been here before and it was awesome but even the food prices are way above what they should cost. Not sure if there was a recent giant increase in prices but $10.50 is ludicrous! I live down town Orlando and even at the most popular bars and clubs it doesn't even come close to this place.

Good burgers and beer selection. The menu is quite large, but I always end up getting a burger and a beer for some reason. The burgers are cooked properly, juicy, and those thin cut fries have some kind of magic sprinkled on them because they are just delicious (and addicting!). They have a good beer selection, too, and I am a fan of IPAs so I usually go with one of those. Overall a great spot.

I've been here on several occasions and the food has always been good. I can testify to the clean and neat atmosphere, the great selection of beers, soups, salads, appetizers and their amazing burgers. Another favorite is their Blonde fish & chips made from real cod (and not Swai or Tilapia.) I will admit that the service can be iffy at times but that's usually during their peak service hours so I usually plan to arrive there just before or after those periods. That said, for the most part of my experience, the staff has been helpful, attentive, extremely friendly and they deliver your menu selections quickly and efficiently. Bon Apetite! Not a place to visit if you only have an hour for lunch break! We were there for 2 hours to eat 4 salads, no apps, no alcohol, no desserts. The service is as slow as molasses. Here's the scoop: We "called ahead seating" for 4 guests for 1:30pm, but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated when we arrived, even though we noticed lots of empty tables while walking to our seats. We all ordered salads for lunch, one guest ordering the "unlimited" soup/ salad which would later become his demise. Good luck trying to get refills on empty drinks, let alone another serving of unlimited soups/ salad. The salads came out sporadically instead of all together, being spaced about 2 minutes apart each. That's strange and annoying. Waitress had to be asked for refills instead of being proactive. Overall - the steak salad was nice, but not enough to entice me back to poor service.

My husband had an appointment at Eyeglass World right up the street, so we decided to have dinner close by. He has been to BJ's with his kids a few times, but we had never gone there together. What a surprise and delight our experience was at BJ's! We got to our seats just in time because not more than 10 minutes after we arrived, a huge group came in and the lobby was bustling with people and activity. Luckily, the place is big enough that it absorbed it all and we were still very comfortable and could hear one another talk. We ordered our glass of wine and within a few minutes our waiter, Dustin, brought the wine to us and remembered to bring the extra cup filled with ice. I know it's sacrilege, but I like my white wine ice cold! I decided on a ribeye with baked potato and veggies, and Mike was getting a pizza. When I ordered, Dustin suggested the two for $35 menu since the ribeye was already on there and, on it's own, was $19.99 so this was a great deal. You get a salad or soup, the entrée plus two sides and dessert to share. Mike decided to get the ribeye as well, mine medium rare and he medium, both of us with a baked potato with butter and sour cream and I chose the winter veggie mix, while Mike chose the green beans. Dustin brought our salads very quickly, both with ranch dressing. The plates were loaded up with the greens, tomato, cucumber, croutons and the ranch dressing. Oh my, their ranch dressing is delicious! We both ate every bite of our salads and sipped on our ice cold Chardonnay. The restaurant was hopping and their waiting area was filled the entire time we were there, but folks seemed fine with waiting and were seated reasonably quick. Mike and I both commented that it felt really good that there was no rush with getting us in and out of there, just a nice leisurely meal in a place with great atmosphere. Their bar area has a huge TV in it's center which was playing four different channels, showing various sports events. Our food arrived fairly quickly and it looked delicious. Steaming baked potato with luscious looking veggies and a lovely ribeye steak. As we cut into our steaks, we both noticed that they were very rare, barely even warm center on my medium rare, and Mike's medium was almost more rare than mine. We let Dustin know, and he immediately scooped up our plates and told us he would get the steaks cooked up a bit more and get them back to us as quickly as possible. Within a few minutes, the manager came up to our table and apologized for the steaks and let us know they were getting them taken care of in the kitchen. So polite and apologetic, we were very impressed! Within about 5 minutes, our plates were returned to us with steaming hot steaks, a new baked potato and steaming veggies. Both of our steaks were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! I don't know what kind of rub or marinade they use, but the taste was as good if not better than Ruth's Chris and Flemings. Every bite melted in my mouth! The potato was huge and the butter and sour cream, along with fresh chives was a great accompaniment to the steak. On top of that, my winter mix of cauliflower, broccoli, fresh carrots and butternut squash was to die for! As we were sipping our wine, and enjoying our delicious meal, the chef comes to our table and apologizes for the initially undercooked steaks. We told him that we understood and the steaks they sent back out to our table were delicious and we were extremely happy. He apologized once again and quietly disappeared as we continued to savor our meal. Dustin then came back to the table and asked if we were ready for dessert. We had pretty much decided right before then that we were going to skip dessert since we were so full, and already taking home half our steaks and sides to have for lunch tomorrow. Dustin was like, "no way, you gotta try this dessert! You won't regret it! " We acquiesced and boy, did we make the right decision! This stuff was manna from heaven, let me tell you! A deliciously warm brownie with a soft center (similar to "dump cake" or molten lava cake), with peppermint ice cream that melted perfectly along with the bites of not-too-sweet dark chocolate brownie, and the crushed peppermint candies gave the dessert a lovely crunch and so much flavor! I don't typically eat dessert, and neither does my husband, but we ate EVERY single bite of this dessert. We joked with Dustin that "we didn't like it at all!" and he hung out with us for a few minutes and joked about his recent honeymoon in Key West and food and restaurant experiences -- he was just a great guy! You must ask for him when you go to BJ's! He was a hoot! Needless to say I am sitting in my sweat pants and baggy shirt and savoring my delicious meal and wonderful experience at BJ's ... Mike said that we should go back soon and I said "tomorrow? After all, it will be Funday Sunday"! . Go soon! You won't regret it!

Came by to celebrate my mom's birthday, and ordered tons of food and drinks. Our server was polite and helpful in regards to the various menu options available. We waited a bit for our food, but nothing too complain about; chipotle avocado rolls weren't as spicy as I wished they were. I enjoy coming to BJ, and will definitely be back.

Worst pizza EVER!!! Got deep dish pizza to go and Pizza was so salty we couldn't even eat it. Sauce was brown and crust was just big bread (not deep dish at all).

The beer is great. Very good quality. The food is ok. I expected more because of the price. I had a cup of chili and it was great. My New York Strip was tough and our stuffed mushroom appetizer was bland. Dessert is always a good choice. The chocolate chunk is my favorite and coming in close second is cookies and cream. I want to try their pizzas, I've heard good things. Service is slow but there is always someone walking by if you have to get someone's attention. Overall I would go back. But probably for lunch or appetizers. Their entrees aren't worth the money.

Great food! Great beer! Great location! Great service, most of the time. You can't really go wrong here unless you only like Coors Light and hot dogs! Walking distance to the track, lots of good craft beers on draft and exceptional food. What aren't you there yet?!

This place can definitely be expensive but after my first experience here I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere is nice, the food is great, and it's one of the only places in the area that offer house-brewed beers. After looking over the extensive menu, I finally settled on the Crispy Jalapeño Burger. It has huge, perfectly cooked, topped with lots of delicious toppings, and served up with a mound of seasoned potato wedges. As for the beer, I tried BJ's Harvest Hefewiezen and Wyder's Pear Cider which were both delicious and fruity without being too sweet.

Food is average in quality and overpriced. But they do have a great beer selection . there quarterly beer tasting are the shining star here.

I am going to have to reconsider my original review. My pizza tasted so burnt and it was way, way, way tiny for the price. I was actually surprised at the size. I know it was a "mini", but it must have been a toddler's mini. It just wasn't good. When I go to this location, I always leave feeling that my food was mediocre at best.

I was treated to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Daytona Beach before a flight out of FL. I really enjoyed the great service, good food and atmosphere of this restaurant. I grabbed a rewards card so I can come back with friends and family and get my points. The clam chowder was delicious, my half chicken sandwich was done well and I have no complaints (for a change). I will be back.......

Food was good. Burgers were fantastic. A little on the pricey side but hopefully the flavor makes up for it. The service could've been better but only slightly affected the experience. Overall: Pretty decent.

The atmosphere of BJ's is incredible, it is very spacious inside, and has a trendy metro-feel to it. When I asked our server about what she would recommend from the menu and her only suggestion was a mixed greens salad. I had the Baby Back Pork Ribs entree, with the mixed vegetable and a baked potato. My fiance had the New York strip steak, which arrived overcooked, with a Caesar salad and a baked potato. My entree arrived ahead of my fiance's and it was cold, the baked potato was undercooked (it was still hard in the center), and the mixed vegetable was mostly broccoli (which is okay, but not what the server said it would be). When my fiance's steak arrived, you could tell immediately that it had been overcooked, he had requested it to be cooked medium-rare, it arrived past the point of well-done. Our server really didn't seem to care that much since she stated, "I told you to get the salad." Seriously? You've got to be kidding me. Overall, the meal and the service are deserving of ZERO stars. I can honestly say that I don't think I will ever return.

I celebrated my mom graduation at BJ's Restaurant in Daytona Beach. I have been to many restaurants from Tallahassee to Miami. I have to honestly say this restaurant deserves 5 stars in food presentation, customer satisfaction/service and awesome price. Thank you to all staff members who made my celebration a one to remember. I am still receiving thank you emails to guest who attended the celebration expressing how much fun they had. Thank you BJ's for providing my family and friends with a lasting memory !!!!!!!

Will not return. Here for lunch, food for just one of our party of 3 was served then the other 2 of us had no food for another 20 minutes. No apology or explanation was given, even though we expressed our dissatisfaction and asked that it be shared with the (apparently nonexistent) manager. Blackened shrimp tacos when finally served had little flavor , hardly any blackened seasoning on shrimp and the shrimp were cold. Avoid wasting your time and money here!

Brand new in DB is BJ's. Came here, sat at the bar and had some beer and food. The food here is average but the service was good! We had the avocado spring roll appetizer and I had the gluten-free thin crust pizza. The appetizer was full of avocado, very hot, and as satisfying as an egg roll could be. The pizza was full of toppings but the sauce was suspect. The redeeming quality was the bites full of toppings. Any time I had just the crust and sauce I was left feeling like I had just eaten ketchup and bread. While there is a pretty decent beer selection, stemming from house brewed beers to tasty imports, the food is still chain quality. Come here for the beer and stay for the food that accompanies it.

Decent place. Nice. Clean. Good staff. They have a small portion app menu for the single patron. I had salmon for dinner. It was overcooked. they remade it correctly. Much appreciated. Worth giving the place a try.

Had to review this place!!!! This is our second experience and the food and service overall was terrible. Waitresses were good but their runners were disconnected. The only reason we came back is because the manager gave us a gift card for poor service the first time. Will not come back . Place looks great but rather drive the hour for Cheesecake Factory.

We eat at BJ's every time we are in SO CAL, so I was excited to see them across from the race track this past weekend. Just like out west the Pizza was great and so was the Blonde Ale!! The only thing I would say the Hostess guy was not very friendly at all and sorta rude, but the waitress was nice and on top of things.

We've stopped here twice on our way home from Jacksonville. Though the service is slow, the food is very good, beer selection is phenomenal, and dessert is the best part. Highly recommended if you're not in a hurry.

Stopped by on the way back to Orlando. Great experience and excellent food. We tried the 1/2 price appetizer deal and wow was it great. The sliders were great, the mini deep dish pizza (Great White) was outstanding, and the ahi tuna was a surprisingly large amount. These would have been just as satisfying at full price. We will definitely be back. In addition, Angel was our waiter and he was great...very knowledgeable and very cooperative.

I went here about a month ago and was not impressed. I use to work at another location so I was excited to check this one out with all the new additions to the menu. Upon arriving wait was not long and had a nice atmosphere. They did not bring my son a kids menu... I had to ask for one. The waitress was terrible..We decided on appitizers and when we told her we'd like to order some she said "one moment" and we didnt see her again for like 5 min.She laid the check down without asking about dessert . We had to find her when it was time to go. I had a calzone which was terrible...the only thing inside was sauce and a tiny smidge of ricotta in one end.Booooo BUT my beer was aweome!! lol I recommend the Hef with a splash of fremoit YUM! Also the portions are big and other food I have had there is pretty good.A lot to choose from.

Our server was very good but that is where it ended. Food is very poor. Burnt Balsamic Chicken and the Blonde Shrimp was junk. Shrimp looked and tasted like it was breaded and then frozen. We got the shrimp replaced with Angel Hair pasta and that was a joke. It was swimming in water and the manager tried to tell us they do that to keep it hot and moist. I use to be in the restaurant business and that is BS. He really did not care if we were happy or not. Typical tourist area treatment by 'some' restaurants and businesses. Steer clear of this place.

  • Bob G.

not bad but slow service not the fault of the servers. Also, make sure you tell them in advance how well you want your bison burger cooked - ours were pink and had to be returned... however, the finished product was great tasting!

Have visited BJ's three times. Didn't expect much the first time, but very pleasantly surprised. Has the feel of a high end sports bar like Yardhouse without as many TV's. That's great if you are on a date, not so good if you are hoping to catch a game. But, you won't be disappointed by the food, and, as someone else mentioned, the size and diversity of the menu will remind you of Cheesecake Factory. But, CF can't match the selection of beer, bottles and tap, plus about a dozen of their own microbrews. Great place for lunch or dinner!

  • Valerie H.

The service here is absolutely horrible but the food is so good, we can't help but to keep coming back. Okay, so the service isn't always horrible. But if you go at lunch and you need to get back to work, don't count on that happening within the standard lunch hour. Sitting in the bar area has helped, but if you go in a group of more than 4 people, you're pretty much doomed. Lunch specials are a great price.

Place was busy, but then again it was Saturday night and the big weekend for the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. We were a group of 10 and sat outside. I have a BJ's next to home, but this is where the group decided to go. If you been to BJ's and like beer, its always gonna be good. The food was consistant with what i had before and the beer. The service was good and all the food came out the same time.

Well, we stopped here for lunch while out shopping in the beach area. A new chain here in FLA. Go here for the brews and steaks - nothing else. The manager is ever-present but the hostess NEVER SMILES and gives orders to patrons, "Stand here!" Did it matter? No one else was in the foyer! Won't be back.

Stopped at this chain restaurant on a trip, and it was conveniently off I-95. Very impressive looking place, but underwhelming regarding food and service. Prices are on the high side for what you receive. Servers kept reciting scripted dialogue that included "what would you like this evening" or "have a great evening' - even though it was 11:45 am. With very few people in the place, our simple order took at least 20 minutes to arrive. Aside from that, we ordered a turkey burger and a special italian chopped salad that sounded great on the menu with cheeses and italian meats. The turkey burger was fine, but the salad was mostly lettuce with a nice vinaigrette dressing and a few bits of mozzarella, salami, olives, etc. - very small bits to say the least. No bread sticks, or bread, or in fact - anything on the side - or to munch on before the order arrived. There were a couple of good chunks of fontina - there should have been much more stuff for a salad priced between $10 -11. The turkey burger was over $10 also. Basically, the food was ok. Nothing particularly special, and over-priced for some very basic items. For a $30 lunch including soft drinks and tip, we could have done better at Fridays..........

The best part about BJ's is Wine Down Tuesdays and they have some really good appetizers. We really like sitting outside here and have had great service on 3 different occasions in the early evenings. ( It's just too bad they don't have a covered outdoor space so there could be ceiling fans during the hot weather.) The flatbreads are tasty and the salads are really good, too.

What a place! The head chef and brew master are both awesome. Both the food and beer was excellent. This combination is hard to come by but these people can pull it off. We had a party of four that ordered 4 appetizers along with two beer samplers , one of the light and ale beers and the otherof the dark beers. All were excellent. pletny of great beer choices on tap as well. Main courses were all much beetter that were expected. Decor is modern and plenty of HD tvs for the big games. Great place to hangout!

This is my 3rd and final visit to this facility. I've been to many BJ's across the country and it is one of my 10 go to places. Always dependable, good atmosphere, and reasonably priced. I first went to this facility 2 years ago and I was not going to visit this place again because of non service and VERY SLOW to get anything. Anyway I visited again 1 year ago because it is BJ's and maybe things have improved. I let the waiter know what happened during my last visit so I got a much better service but the food was very salty so they had to remake the food. I just visited again today and I will NEVER return to this place EVER or someone slap me. No service was VERY SLOW, brought the food salty again (no where to find the waitress so I asked the receptionist to find our waitress and she said OK I will find her OK!!! and stared at me. I went back to my table and she proceed to do whatever she was doing and ignored me. Finally when I was about to go around looking for the waitress, the receptionist went to look for the waitress). After that fiasco, the waitress passed by our table several times but failed to see if we needed anything like refilling the empty cup. We go to nice places because of atmosphere, nice food, good service, and value pricing. Atmosphere = 10, Value Pricing = 10, Nice Food = 4, Good Service = 2. That's my 2 cents...

I tried it on a whim with family while on vacation and we were all very impressed, even the service was top notch. We all ordered something different so we could try a variety (menu is pretty big and you will want to try different things) and they were all awesome. Hamburgers were great, gumbo was awesome (spicy like it should be), even loved the fish taco! As a result we came back later that week and was just as impressed after trying more new items. The salads are loaded with flavor and the cookie-n-ice cream dessert is worth getting every time! Can't wait till next years vacation to try more new things here for lunch or dinner.

It is a nice resturant with an encyclopedia for a menu much like cheesecake factory,(in size volume only) but not quite as daunting. HUGE variety of beers. I really liked my fish tacos and the prices are pretty good. Service was meh but it is new. I will be back.

We were there on opening day and the food was great. I would actually say it's almost better than other chain restaurants like Longhorns (which is what it reminds me of). The servers were nice and attentive. The food came out hot. Refills were in abundance. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely a place to go to.

  • Jill T.

They were off tonight; in & out after agonizing 2.5 hours. Long 30 minute pauses between courses with no anticipation of needs meaning servers came and left without removing obvious dirty plates; never spontaneous water replenishing; salmon very small in portion as well as the ahi tuna and no to the pizza as too much crust and scant toppings. of course the beers- no complaint there. Conclusion is food is so so yet service extremely lax.

We arrived at 5PM on a Wednesday- before the dinner crowd. We were a party of three and were shown to a table- when we asked for a booth-(there were many available) the hostess gave us a very unhappy look. Our waiter was friendly and tried to be our good buddy. He took our order and brought back our drinks- we waited and waited for our salads. Finally our waiter realized that he forgot the salads and went to get them. He came back and said the salads were delayed because they were baking fresh croutons( sure or did they open a new bag). Within minutes of getting the salads our entrees arrived- we wound up eating both salads and entrees at the same time. I had just finished my entree (still had a fork in my hand) and my wife was still enjoying her meal when our waiter arrived to clear the table and ask if we wanted anything else. When we indicated that we were not interested in dessert he whipped out the check and placed it on our table and said no rush on the check. (my wife still had half of her entree left to eat) During our meal he returned numerous times to ask how we liked our "brewskies) He kept pushing the drinks- since I am old enough to be his father I really didnt like being treated as a college buddy. It could be he was rushing us out to have another group seated or he was just not schooled in taking good care of a customer. The food was just ok- nothing to write home about. I think that a good restaurant experience depends on a good waiter and we really felt rushed by this young waiter. I am now not inclined to go back with that experience fresh on my mind.I hope the manager sees this review and instructs his staff that return business is more important not just the fast tip for that one evening.
